Meet Your Tutor

Hi, my name is Jenny

My journey as an Orton-Gillingham tutor stems from a deep conviction that literacy is the key to unlocking countless opportunities in life.

With over 7 years of experience working with children in Canada and abroad, I have seen firsthand how strong reading and writing skills empower individuals to pursue new possibilities and reach their aspirations. As a personal tutor in Belgium and Spain, I discovered a profound sense of purpose in supporting dyslexic children as well as those who struggle with ADHD and autism. My own diagnosis of ADHD has provided me with valuable insights into navigating these challenges, enhancing my ability to connect with and support my students. I also earned my TEFL certification to teach English in Asia; however, due to the pandemic, I had to reevaluate those plans.

My commitment to this work is rooted in the recognition that many children facing learning differences encounter significant emotional hurdles. This realization drives my desire to make a meaningful difference in their lives. I am dedicated to equipping these young learners with the necessary tools and support to thrive academically and cultivate the self-confidence essential for their success.

I am passionate about ensuring that every child has access to an education that caters to their unique needs, fostering their confidence and providing a safe space for growth. I believe that by offering this support, we can make a meaningful difference in their lives, empowering them to thrive both academically and personally.
